Fay and Terry started their dolls house business 12 years ago in a small gatehouse which looked like a castle, hence their shop name.
In 1997, they moved to their present shop in Hemel Hempstead Old Town. It was here that the T.V. series "Pie in the Sky" was filmed.
Terry has loved all forms of modelling since childhood, which included 'Trains, Planes and Automobiles' but absolutely got hooked on dolls houses. He never tires of the challenge to design and build a new house.
Fay enjoys serving customers in their well stocked shop, and helping and advising where necessary.
Together they make a fantastic team and they are always on hand with free advice and useful tips.
Apart from Terry's own houses, they also stock many supplied kits and everything you could wish for to complete and furnish your dream dolls house.
They are members of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, so the quality of their work is assured.
